Description
Fitostimoline plus gauzes is a medical device for dermatological use consisting of single-dose gauzes, impregnated with a water-dispersible cream. With Rigenase (wheat extract) and polyhexanide. Fitostimoline plus gauzes form a protective barrier against the external environment, creating favorable conditions for a rapid and correct re-epithelizing action on the skin and helping to control its microenvironment; therefore, the product is indicated for the treatment of ulcers, sores, wounds, first and second-degree burns, sunburn, abrasions. Rigenase is a specific extract of germinated wheat. The presence of polyhexanide reduces the risk of bacterial contamination.
Components
Rigenase, polyhexanide, polyethylene glycol 400, polyethylene glycol 600, polyethylene glycol 1,500, polyethylene glycol 4,000; glycerin, phenoxyethanol, purified water.
How to use
Remove the gauze and apply it directly to the previously cleaned and disinfected area. Cover with sterile gauze and/or absorbent cotton (when dealing with highly exudative sores). For subsequent dressings, unless otherwise specified, the area can be washed with water beforehand, as the cream is completely water-dispersible and leaves no residue. Repeat the application every 48 hours unless otherwise directed by the doctor. Cutaneous use.
1) Open the sachet.
2) Remove the protective plastic film.
3) Take out the gauze.
4) Apply the gauze.
Warnings
No side effects have been reported. However, it is important to report any side effects to your doctor or pharmacist. Contraindicated in case of known or suspected hypersensitivity to the components. The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products can lead to sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, treatment must be interrupted and, if necessary, appropriate therapy instituted. No interactions or incompatibilities with other products are known. Before use, carefully read the package leaflet. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not ingest and avoid contact with eyes. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package; the expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and correctly stored. Do not use the product if the package is damaged. Do not reuse the gauze: reuse can cause infections.
Storage
Do not store above 30°C. Do not freeze. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Validity of unopened packaging: 36 months.
