RHINOGERMINATES
Description
Medical device with mechanical action, intended to reconstitute the natural biological barrier formed by native saprophytes and to reduce the surface tension of nasal mucus. Rinogermina is indicated:
- in the treatment and prevention of nasopharyngotubal infections such as, for example: otitis, adenoiditis, rhinosinusitis;
- after topical nasal and/or systemic antibiotic therapy, to promote the reconstitution of the normal nasopharyngeal saprophytic flora;
- in all cases where it is appropriate to promote the reconstitution of the normal nasal and nasopharyngeal saprophytic flora (topical nasal treatments, allergic rhinitis, asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic damage from smoking or irritating inhaled substances, etc.).
How to use
1. Cut the sachet along the dotted line, open the bottle and pour the contents of the sachet into the bottle, taking care not to let the contents of the sachet spill out.
2. Close the bottle with the cap and shake vigorously.
3. Open the bottle, screw on the spray pump after removing the protection from the dip tube, pulling it vigorously and avoiding touching the inside with your hands.
4. Shake vigorously and remove the cap from the pump.
5. Before applying, press the pump several times to activate it. Bend your head slightly forward and apply the product to your nostrils without inhaling during application.
6. Close the pump with the cap and store in the refrigerator.
7. It is suggested to keep the product at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes before nasal administration.
8. Shake well before each reuse.
Adults and children: we recommend 2 sprays (min. 5 x 109 CFU) per nostril twice a day for 7 consecutive days, repeating the treatment for at least 3 months or according to medical advice.
Once reconstituted, the product should be stored in the refrigerator (4°C).
Use within 7 days of first application.
Components
Sachet composition: freeze-dried Streptococcus salivarius 24SMBc and Streptococcus oralis 89a (min.125 x 109 UFC/g), anti-caking agent.
Bottle composition: PEG/PPG copolymer, PEG-14 Dimethicone, buffered isotonic solution at pH 7.00, flavouring.
Warnings
Do not use the product in case of known hypersensitivity to the components of the product. Do not use in case of congenital or acquired immunodeficiency, neoplasms, chemotherapy treatments or presence of a central venous catheter. Do not use in case of current or previous endocarditis and/or cardiac pathologies predisposing to the development of endocarditis. The presence of natural flavours, used to improve its pleasantness, can affect the organoleptic characteristics of Rinogermina; therefore, variations in colour may be detected without any deterioration in the quality of the product. In case of adverse reactions, suspend use of the product and consult your doctor. Do not ingest. The product can be used up to 7 days after reconstitution of the product. Do not use the product if the packaging is not intact. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid promiscuous use of the product. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Conservation
Close the nebulizer tightly after use. Store the product intact at a temperature not exceeding 15 °C. Keep it in the refrigerator (4 °C) after first use.
Store away from heat sources.
