FOR RHIZOARTHROSIS
Description
Orthosis for stabilizing the trapeziometacarpal joint in the functional position of the thumb, maintaining the mobility of the other fingers and the prehensility of the hand. Rigid radial splint for relative immobilization of the first ray of the hand. Comfortable padded lining. Elastic wrist band and thumb tab with Velcro closure.
The medical device provides stabilization of the thumb. The medical device provides pain relief and functional improvement in carpometacarpal osteoarthritis.
How to use
Insert your hand into the orthosis so that the splint is aligned with your thumb and the last phalanx is free. Tighten the Velcro closure on your wrist to obtain a firm but comfortable support. Pull the tab with the Velcro closure by wrapping it around your thumb, so that it passes between your thumb and index finger from the dorsal to the palmar side. Then secure the tab through the Velcro closure.
To wash: hand wash in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring gently, let dry horizontally. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.
Warnings
Do not prolong the use of the product without the advice of a doctor. The product has been designed for use by a single person, do not use it on multiple people. The product should not be used in direct contact with damaged skin.
