Description
Medical device with retropulsive shoulder function.
Orthosis for immobilization of the shoulder girdle and maintenance of the shoulders in retropulsion using a double strap with figure-eight bandage functions.
Straps with "crocodile clip" ends removable via Velcro fasteners.
How to use
It is recommended that the initial positioning be carried out by a qualified specialist. Open and fully unfold the straps. Detach the “crocodile clip” ends with Velcro closures from the straps. Position the padded shield between the two shoulder blades with the Dr. GIBAUD® logo facing downwards. Pass the straps over the shoulders and then under the armpits. Insert the ends into the ring fixed to the shield by passing them from bottom to top; fold the ends over the straps themselves. Pull the two straps firmly until the shoulders are pushed back. If necessary, cut the straps to the desired length, reposition the “crocodile clip” ends and fasten them to the removable double Velcro closure insert on the straps themselves.
Washing instructions
Hand wash in warm water with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, wring out gently, leave to dry horizontally.
Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron and do not dry clean.
Warnings
Do not prolong use of the product without medical advice.
The product is designed for use by a single person, do not use it on multiple people.
Do not use on broken skin.
If you experience any problems using the product such as the appearance of pain or obvious local signs, remove it and contact a healthcare professional.
