One size fits all
Indications: flaccid paralysis of the upper limb and prevention of subluxation events of the shoulder following: stroke, brachial plexus injury, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), central nervous system (CNS) injuries, centromedullary syndrome.
Features: neurological brace for maintaining the upper limb in a functional position in order to prevent spasticity and prevent shoulder subluxation.
Brace composed of non-stretchable bands adjustable via rear crossover Velcro fastenings.
Padded cuff to reduce underarm pressure and improve comfort.
Handle with padded grip and elastic connecting bands to keep the arm in a functional position and the wrist in a neutral position.
Elastic strap with Velcro closures to maintain the adduction position of the arm.
Replacement set of handle padding and underarm sleeve.
How to use
How to wear it: To wear N1 you need the help of a third party.
Place the band with the cuff on the healthy shoulder. The padded cuff should be under the armpit.
Pass the brace behind your back. Make sure that the intersection of the straps is positioned between the two shoulder blades.
The elbow between the two adjustable bands.
Place your hand on the padded handle.
Adjust the straps using the Velcro fasteners so that the arm is supported and kept in a functional position.
Fasten the removable strap on the forearm near the elbow using the Velcro fasteners.
Washing instructions: hand wash in water at 30°C with neutral soap or detergent, rinse well, dry horizontally. Do not iron.
