Ligagib Open Knee Brace
Medical device indicated for medium severity sprains, severe trauma during re-education and rehabilitation, after surgery, after-effects of trauma, instability and chronic laxity.Characteristics:
• Front opening for easy application and adaptation.
• Three-dimensional ventilated fabric, light, breathable and comfortable.
• Polycentric joints to limit antero-posterior translation of the knee.
• Rigid lateral splinting to ensure lateral stability.
• Wide adaptability thanks to the Velcro fastenings.
• Adjustable straps with opposite closure (two front and two rear).
• Patellar window with two C-shaped centering pads.
• Opening at the popliteal fossa to facilitate flexion.
How to use
The first positioning must be performed by a qualified specialist. In addition to the measurement, a trial is necessary for a correct adaptation and a good understanding of the positioning of the orthosis. The internal label must be on the upper part of the leg. We recommend the following procedure for wearing the orthosis:
• Open the knee brace completely and position the rear window at the level of the popliteal fossa.
• Close the upper and lower ends by centering the C-shaped patellar pads around the kneecap.
• Fasten the front straps to achieve a stable but comfortable positioning.
• Finish the application by adjusting the closure of the rear straps; the splints must be parallel and centered on the axis of the knee.

Warnings
To ensure a longer product life, it is advisable to follow the following washing instructions:
• Remove the joints and hand wash in water at 30°C with neutral soap or detergent.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Do not wring.
• Leave to dry horizontally.
• Do not iron.
