Description
elmex Junior toothpaste for children aged 6 to 12 years, specifically designed for the particular needs during the mixed dentition period. The new permanent teeth, which begin to emerge around age six, are particularly susceptible to cavities because the enamel is initially still porous and relatively soft. A higher concentration of fluoride promotes the tooth hardening process, thereby increasing the teeth's resistance to acid attacks and the consequent risk of cavities. Thanks to the specific properties of the amine fluorides contained in the toothpaste, cavity protection is ensured for several hours after brushing. The mild flavor encourages children to switch from children's toothpaste, with a lower fluoride content, to a product with a fluoride concentration suitable for their age.
