Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of subjects who need to repair damaged tissue (e.g. pressure sores, burns, diabetic foot ulcers, mucositis, radiodermatitis, etc.), for the dietary management of oncological subjects and more generally of subjects with severe immune deficiency.
The nutritional approach with Glutred is based on the synergistic action of its components: HMB counteracts the loss of plasma and muscle proteins; glutamine and arginine promote protein synthesis, the repair of lesions and the normal functioning of the immune system; whey proteins contain a high concentration of branched-chain amino acids, in particular leucine, which is essential for the activation of protein synthesis; vitamin D has recognized positive effects on immunomodulation and muscle function.

L-glutamine, L-arginine, maltodextrin; acidifier: citric acid; calcium hydroxymethylbutyrate, flavourings, whey protein concentrate; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; sweeteners: acesulfame K, sucralose; colouring: beta-carotene; vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride).

How to use
1 or 2 sachets per day according to your doctor's advice.
The product can be used orally or enterally.
Oral administration: dissolve the contents of one sachet in 250 ml of water.
Enteral administration: Do not mix Glutred with other enteral nutrition formulas in the same bag. Wash the tube with 30 ml of water before and after administration of the product. Ensure correct positioning of the tube before use.
Pour the contents of a sachet of Glutred into a container suitable for dispersing 250 ml of water at room temperature or slightly warm. Mix until the product is completely dispersed. Administer the solution using a syringe of at least 60 ml.
Use preferably immediately after preparation, within 4 hours if stored in the refrigerator.

Warnings
Not for parenteral use. Not intended as a sole source of nutrition. The product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age. Use only under the supervision of a physician.

Conservation
Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from light.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
