Isotonic and sterile solution of sea water from the Cinque Terre, indicated in cases of ocular hypersensitivity with irritation, redness, burning, itching, sensation of foreign bodies in the eye and following tearing and fatigue induced by external factors such as: exposure to wind and solar rays, dust, smog, pollen, fumes, saltiness, dry heat, air-conditioned environments, prolonged exposure to video screens and use of contact lenses.
It can soothe ailments related to environmental factors. Used regularly, every four to five hours, it significantly helps soothe ailments caused by contact of pollen with the conjunctiva. It can also be used in the presence of contact lenses.
Isotonic sea water
It has chemical-physical characteristics similar to those of the inorganic fraction of human plasma, extracellular fluids and the aqueous component of tears. The mineral salts dissolved in it are therefore the same as those found in tear fluid; consequently, the ionic channels of the corneal and conjunctival cell membranes find, in addition to normal rehydration, the possibility of "integrating" any mineral salts and trace elements they are lacking. Isotonic sea water therefore assumes an isoplasmatic structure, which also makes it isosmotic with respect to cell membranes.
Sodium hyaluronate (vegetable origin)
The ability of hyaluronic acid to absorb water and “trap” it is an important source of prolonged rehydration.
Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (vegetable origin)
Substance with a wetting and lubricating action that allows for a more uniform distribution of the product over the entire conjunctiva and improved gliding of the eyelid movement by slowing down the evaporation of the aqueous component of the tear film.
It is not habit-forming and has no side effects.
Hydrates, refreshes, lubricates, soothes, does not burn. Contains no colorants.
Instill 1-2 drops into the eye. In the presence of contact lenses, for a greater lubricating and soothing action, it is recommended to instill the product 5-10 minutes before applying the lenses.

Conservation
After use, the bottle can be closed and the remaining solution can be used within the following 12 hours.

Isotonic sea water from the Cinque Terre Marine Park; hyaluronic acid; hydroxypropyl-methyl-cellulose; cineraria marittima; calendula officinalis; centaurea cyanus (cornflower); helichrysum italicum; euphrasia officinalis.
