Description
CE Medical Device (Dir. 93/42/EEC) Class IIa.
Medical device with mechanical action indicated in the treatment of gastric reflux to reduce related symptoms such as: acid regurgitation, heartburn, gastric pyrosis during pregnancy, indigestion associated with reflux of gastric contents, cough, hoarseness and rhinopharyngeal inflammation. It can be used during continuous treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as primary prophylaxis for NSAID-induced gastropathy.
Ingredients
Alginic acid 365 mg, sodium alginate 300 mg, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, maltodextrin, sodium chloride, microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide, simethicone, hydrogenated vegetable fat, magnesium stearate, water; coating: hydroxypropyl cellulose.
Gluten-free.
Directions for use
Take at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking medication or other oral products to avoid interfering with their absorption.
Swallow 1-2 tablets after meals with a little water. Wash your hands before using the medical device. The duration of use depends on the evolution of symptoms; if necessary, it can be taken for prolonged periods.
Warnings
It is recommended to consult your doctor before using REFALGIN tablets in combination with medicines or other oral products. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you take 4 or more tablets a day for a prolonged period, especially if you are on a low-sodium diet. Keep out of reach of children.
The medical device is generally well tolerated as its mechanism of action is physical/mechanical and does not depend on systemic absorption. This medical device contains methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, which may cause allergic reactions, including delayed ones. If you experience any side effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Some components of the product may interact with the activity of drugs and other oral products, interfering with their absorption.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat.
Shelf life unopened: 36 months.
