Set of products specifically designed to remove parasitic ticks from the skin of animals and people.
• Removes all ticks, of any size (starting from 1 tenth of a millimetre) and in any position;
• if used correctly, it does not leave residues of the tick's rostrum embedded in the skin;
• does not compress the tick's abdomen, thus minimising the risk of pathogen transmission (Lyme disease, tick-borne encephalitis, etc.);
• does not require the combined use of chemical products (alcohol, ether, etc.);
• allows the removal of the tick quickly, easily and without pain;
• it is unbreakable, durable and infinitely reusable.
Ticks are parasites that feed on the blood of humans and animals.
While sucking blood, ticks can transmit dangerous diseases, as some are carriers of pathogens.
Unfortunately, the number of infected ticks has increased dramatically in recent years.
To minimize the risk of contracting a disease, ticks should be removed as quickly as possible, without breaking any part of their rostrum, without crushing their body and without causing their death before removal.
The use of chemical repellents can minimize the risk of tick bites, but they do not guarantee total protection.
Anyone at risk of tick bites (pet owners, hikers, etc.) should carry an effective tick removal tool.
Instructions for use
1. Choose the most appropriate size of "Tick Remover" based on the size of the tick to be removed.
2. Place the hook on the side of the tick until it is firmly in place.
3. Lift the tick slightly and twist the hook until the tick detaches naturally.
During removal operations it is essential not to compress the body of the tick, to reduce the risk of saliva reflux, which can be a vehicle for infections and/or allergies.
The shape of this product was designed by veterinarians taking into account the morphology of the tick.
The tick's rostrum is made up of several spurs opposite to the direction of perforation of the skin; this allows the tick to be more “anchored” in the skin.
If you try to remove the tick by pulling on it, these spurs become more firmly embedded in the skin, increasing the risk that parts of the tick will remain inside the skin, causing infection.
Conversely, with a rotary movement, the spurs align with the axis of rotation making the removal of the tick easy and safe and reducing the risk of breaking the rostrum.
The product, with O'TOM rotating system, is the only tool that allows the user to grasp the tick without compressing it, removing it with a rotary motion.
This is the best and safest technique to completely remove ticks.

It is made of polyacetate.
This polymer makes the product robust; resistant to alcohol, ether, solvents and other substances that might be commonly used on ticks.
It is non-toxic, completely recyclable, and can be incinerated without emitting chlorine fumes (dispose of in accordance with current regulations).
