Description
sterile solution containing polyethylene glycol 400, propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl guar, sorbitol, aminomethylpropanol, boric acid, potassium chloride and sodium chloride.
Used as directed, SYSTANE ULTRA Lubricating Eye Drops:
- protects the surface of the eye;
- provides relief from dry eye symptoms and improves visual performance;
- provides temporary relief from dryness caused by contact lens wear (before and after contact lens application);
- hydrates contact lenses, reduces discomfort related to wearing lenses and promotes the removal of particles that could cause irritation and/or discomfort;
- provides hydration and lubrication of contact lenses worn.
SYSTANE ULTRA Lubricating Eye Drops are indicated for temporary relief from burning sensations and irritation caused by dry eyes.
SYSTANE ULTRA Lubricating Eye Drops can be used to moisturize and lubricate daily, extended wear, disposable silicone hydrogel and soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses. SYSTANE ULTRA Lubricating Eye Drops moisturizes contact lenses, reduces lens-related discomfort and helps remove particles that may cause irritation and/or discomfort.
SYSTANE ULTRA Lubricating Eye Drops are intended for use by consumers for temporary relief of burning sensations and irritation caused by dry eye.
SYSTANE ULTRA Lubricating Eye Drops is also intended for consumers who wear soft (hydrophilic) and silicone hydrogel contact lenses, including daily, extended wear, disposable contact lenses.
How to use
1. Grasp the bottle directly under the cap and twist the cap to open.
2. When using for the first time, hold the bottle at about a 90-degree angle and discard the first drop of product. Shake the bottle down to remove any remaining product.
SYSTANE ULTRA Lubricating Eye Drops can be used as needed throughout the day.
3. Instill 1 or 2 drops into the eye(s) and open and close the eyelids.
4. While wearing contact lenses, if slight irritation, discomfort or blurring occurs, instill 1 or 2 drops into the eye(s) and open and close the eyelids 2 or 3 times. It can also be used before and after contact lens application.
5. After use, before placing the cap on the bottle, shake the bottle downwards to eliminate any product residue that may remain on the tip.
6. Close the bottle.
Warnings
- For ocular use only.
- Safety ring: Do not use if safety ring is damaged or missing.
- Do not use if the package or bottle (sterile packaging) is damaged.
- To avoid contamination, never place the tip of the dropper bottle in contact with any surface.
- If swallowed, consult a doctor.
- If the solution changes color or becomes cloudy, do not use the product.
- Replace the cap after use.
- Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
- Use by the expiration date indicated on the product.
- This product contains boric acid in safe amounts when used according to label directions.
- Keep out of reach of children.
If you experience persistent discomfort, excessive tearing, changes in vision or redness of the eyes, stop using SYSTANE ULTRA Lubricating Eye Drops and consult your eye doctor, as the problem may become more serious.
