Auricularia is a common edible mushroom with a brownish ear-like shape and gelatinous consistency, it grows on old dead trees such as Elder and Elm and can reach 10 cm in size. It is very rich in vitamins, polypeptides and minerals such as: silicon, copper, potassium and magnesium.
