Description
The medical device provides greater stability and movement limitation in the lumbar spine. It also provides relief from lower back pain.
Conditions of the lower back that may benefit from movement restriction, such as:
- muscular back pain;
- lumbosacral distortion;
- chronic low back pain;
- sciatica.
Rigid support with splinting, to concentrate forces on the lumbar region obtained by the V-band system. Lightweight ventilated fabric for reduced sweating and a comfortable fit.
Two removable abdominal stays with anti-rolling system.
How to use
Wear the corset over underwear or a light garment. Orient the V-shaped junction downward. Position the corset so that it is centered over the lumbar spine, with the lower edge level with the coccyx. Check that the product fits snugly around the lumbar spine and, if necessary, adjust the stays. Apply symmetrical tension and close the corset with the Velcro closure.
Washing
Hand wash in warm water with mild soap or detergent, rinse well, wring out gently, and lay flat to dry. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.
Warnings
Do not use where compression is contraindicated.
Store in a dry place away from excessive heat and light. Do not prolong use of the product without medical advice. The product is intended for single-person use; do not use on multiple people. The product should not be used in direct contact with broken skin. Do not use if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the product's components. If you experience any problems while using the product, such as pain or visible localized signs, remove the product and contact a healthcare professional. In the event of a serious incident following use of the product, contact the manufacturer and your local healthcare professional.
Gradual withdrawal of the medical device is recommended, possibly combined with functional physiotherapy.
Patients with pelvic floor weakness should consult their doctor before using this medical device. It is recommended that the product be fitted by a qualified professional for the first time and that subsequent placements be performed independently using the same procedure.
