Food supplement based on folic acid. For women of childbearing age, in anticipation of pregnancy, the supplemental intake of folic acid is useful to increase the maternal folate status which, if low, is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus*; it also contributes to the growth of maternal tissues. More generally, folic acid intervenes in the process of cell division, helps strengthen the immune system, reduces tiredness and fatigue and maintains normal psychological function. It also intervenes in the synthesis of amino acids, in the metabolism of homocysteine and in hematopoiesis, that is, in the formation and maturation of all blood cells.
*Beneficial effect obtainable with a daily intake of 400 mcg of folic acid, starting at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
Product suitable for vegans. Contains no alcohol, preservatives, colorants, synthetic sweeteners or natural flavors.

Bidistilled vegetable glycerin, pure water, folic acid (calcium MTHF or calcium L-methylfolate).

How to use
It is recommended to take 2 drops (0.116 ml) once a day at any time. Apply the drops to the tongue and wait approximately 1 minute before swallowing.
