Highly effective toothpaste for cavity protection. Sodium monofluorophosphate (1,450 ppm), 1.5% arginine.
After meals, the pH value of the mouth decreases due to the transformation of the sugars contained in foods into acids.
Elmex Cavity Protection Professional with patented sugar acid neutralizer technology:
-contains 1.5% arginine, which promotes an increase in the pH value in plaque and helps restore a neutral environment, thus compensating for the decrease in pH due to food intake;
-helps prevent tooth decay in the long term.
When we eat, our teeth are exposed to the resulting acids (from the transformation of sugars contained in food) which demineralize the enamel, potentially causing caries. Elmex Caries Protection Professional with sugar acid neutralizer technology not only promotes the remineralization of demineralized tooth enamel, but also effectively protects it from acid attacks, and therefore from caries.
Its clinically proven formula works in two ways: its patented Sugar Acid Neutraliser technology helps neutralise acids from sugars before they can damage teeth; it provides 4 times more remineralisation of tooth enamel, for stronger teeth (Compared to a toothpaste with 1,450 ppm fluoride).
