Description
Food supplement that combines folic acid, ferrous gluconate and vitamin C in a single compound.
Property
Iron is an essential component of many basic biological processes (cellular energy processes, oxygen use and DNA replication). It prevents learning disorders and promotes the development of neurocognitive abilities. Folic acid (vitamin B9), now known as essential in the prevention of neonatal malformations, especially those affecting the neural tube, is also essential for protein synthesis, DNA and the formation of hemoglobin. Vitamin C promotes the absorption of iron and delays its oxidation. It intervenes in the synthesis of collagen and in the transformation of folic acid into folinic acid.
Ingredients
Water, fructose, ferrous gluconate, ascorbic acid; stabilizers: glycerol, sorbitol sol. 70%; acidity regulator: sodium lactate sol. 60%; thickener: xanthan gum; preservative: potassium sorbate; peach flavoring, folic acid, natural lemon flavoring; sweetener: sucralose.
Gluten free.
How to use
Preterm infants 1 to 4 mg of elemental iron per kg of body weight in a single dose or in two doses (from the 8th week of life up to 1 year) maximum dose 15 mg/day. Term infants or children with severe deficiency anemia doses of 4 to 6 mg per kg of weight in 3 administrations. In mild and moderate forms, doses of 0.5 to 3 mg/kg in 2 doses are recommended.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.

Store in a cool, dry place.
