Description
Medical device based on type I porcine collagen for the supplementation of nervous tissue, to improve joint mobility and to reduce painful symptoms caused by postural defects.
How to use
- Peri-articular route: insert the needle close to the joint to a depth of 6-13 mm.
- Intramuscularly: insert the needle into the trigger points to a depth of 5-8 mm.
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
Peri-articular: 26G x 13mm needle.
Intramuscular: 26G x 13mm needle.
Note: Perform thorough skin disinfection with povidone-iodine or chlorhexidine.
THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL
1 treatment per week: injection into the trigger points and/or peri-articular area of one (2 ml) or two vials (4 ml) per treatment.
Results are already evident from the third week but, depending on the patient's clinical situation, it is possible to continue the treatment until the tenth week without risks.
Components
Porcine collagen, Citrullus colocynthis, sodium chloride, water for injection.
Warnings
Somatic neuralgia requires differential diagnosis with visceral pain, primary or metastatic tumor pain. A slight redness in the injection area may be due to the mechanical effect of the needle or a skin reaction. The application may cause symptoms of burning/pain at the injection sites, which generally resolve within 5-10 minutes after the end of the treatment.
Skin cleaning/disinfection is required before and after application. Any pyogenic bacteria may produce abscess in the injection area.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored correctly. Use the product immediately after opening.
