Description
The sterile soft gauze compresses are ideal for immediate use after a cut or wound. They are specifically designed to clean and protect medium to large everyday wounds, such as scrapes, cuts, abrasions, burns, and lacerations.
These compresses are not only ideal for treating an acute wound in case of emergency but also for sterile postoperative dressing. The compress is suitable for use with antiseptic products or ointments and creams that promote healing.
The sterile soft gauze compresses can be unfolded and/or folded according to the usage needs and the size of the wound. The folded compress provides extra protection for small wounds when needed.
Latex-free.
Instructions for use
Clean and thoroughly disinfect the wound from dirt and bacteria. To prevent infections, spray the Hansaplast wound spray from a distance of about 10 cm over the entire area of the wound. Repeat if necessary and then gently dab the wound and the surrounding area with a sterile compress to dry.
In minor wounds, bleeding stops quickly. If bleeding continues, apply more gauze, maintain pressure on the wound, and seek medical attention.
Gently dab the wound with a sterile compress to dry. It is important to protect the wound from external agents, such as dirt and bacteria, to allow for continuous healing. Apply the bandage and secure it with the help of Hansaplast Fixation Plasters, Wide Area Fixation, Elastic Fixation Bandage, or Cohesive Bandage. Change the dressing daily unless otherwise directed by a doctor.
