Description
Food supplement formulated in gastro-resistant capsules, it is based on N-acetyl-cysteine, alpha-lipoic acid, L-acetyl carnitine, and melon extract (superoxide dismutase). The product is useful in case of increased need or reduced dietary intake of these nutrients.
Alpha-lipoic acid, or thioctic acid, is found in many foods bound to proteins and can exist in a reduced and an oxidized state. Acetyl-L-Carnitine is the acetylated derivative of the amino acid L-carnitine, which is required in the transport of fatty acids into the mitochondria for beta-oxidation. N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) has a structure that allows it to easily cross cell membranes. Inside the cell, NAC is deacetylated, making L-cysteine, an important sulfur-containing amino acid, available.
Ingredients
Alpha-lipoic acid, N-acetyl-L-cysteine, acetyl L-carnitine, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; melon fruit es (Cucumis melo L.); colouring: titanium dioxide.
Sugar and gluten free. Naturally lactose free.
