Shea butter [Butyrospermum parkji Kotzkji (Fam. Sapotaceae)] obtained from the butter tree (Butyrospermum parkji Kotzkji), widespread in tropical Africa. Shea butter is one of the most interesting lipids from a cosmetic point of view. With a pasty consistency, sweet smell and taste, it is rich in unsaponifiables and is a precious product for wrinkles and stretch marks. Since it is a completely natural product, it may have a slight graininess and an irregular surface.
