Eye Wipes
Description
Sterile disposable ophthalmic wipes for the periocular treatment of dogs and cats even in case of ophthalmic disorders of various nature.
The wipes are able to moisturize and cleanse the periocular surface of the eye in pets.
They are indicated for the removal of mucus, crusts or secretions from the eyelids and eyelashes due to inflammatory and/or infectious phenomena. Pet Eye Wipes can also be used in ophthalmic surgery on animals (e.g. corneal, eyelid or cataract surgery) before and after surgery.
How to use
After cleaning your hands well, open the sachet and remove the gauze. Apply the gauze to the eyelid area, gently rubbing it in order to allow adequate cleansing, removal of ocular secretions and any deposits of other origins (smog, dust, powders, etc.).
- Hot compress: in the event of particularly organised secretions or occlusion of the tear duct, in the presence of pathologies such as meibomianitis, chalazia and blepharitis, it is advisable to heat the closed bag for a few minutes in warm water (approximately 40°C) and then use the gauze as a hot compress, massaging delicately (according to the veterinarian's instructions).
- Cold Compress: in the case of inflammation or eyelid surgery, it is advisable to cool the closed bag in the refrigerator for a few hours by applying the open gauze to the eye (with closed eyelids), keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress.
Components
100% sterile cotton gauze soaked in 2.8 ml of the following solution: aqua, sodium cocoyl wheat amino acids, sodium hyaluronate, ammonium glycyrrhizate, phenethyl alcohol, ethylhexylglycerin, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder, Chamomilla recutita extract, Euphrasia officinalis extract, Calendula officinalis flower extract, niacinamide, propylene glycol, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, polysorbate 20, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, disodium phosphate.
Warnings

Gauze is disposable, reuse could be a vehicle for infections.
The sterility of the product is guaranteed only if the bag is intact.
Keep out of reach of children.
Read the instructions for use carefully.
Discontinue treatment in case of evident irritation or hypersensitivity to the product.
In case of infectious conditions, do not use the same gauze for both eyes.
