Description
Advanced cream formulation which, thanks to its components, helps improve the appearance of scars (hypertrophic scars, skin thickening and/or keloids) secondary to surgical interventions or harmful insults of various kinds.
The silicone components contained in Kaloidon TiO2 form a gas-permeable, flexible and waterproof film, which promotes the correct level of skin hydration; furthermore, the presence of exclusively physical sun filters (micronized titanium dioxide) allows the formation of a barrier that guarantees adequate protection of the scar from solar rays, often the cause of poor healing and possible browning.
The extract of Allium cepa (onion), with a high content of quercetin and its glucosides (in a guaranteed quantity greater than 10%), promotes the correct healing process, as well as reducing redness and itching of the tissue in formation. The presence of allantoin contributes to the soothing effect of the formulation on the scar.
On particularly thickened scars Kaloidon TiO2 can also be applied as a compress.
How to use
It should be used after the removal of stitches on intact skin. Apply a light layer of product on clean and dry skin, two or more times a day, in an amount sufficient to cover the affected area. Use is recommended before exposure to sunlight. It is also recommended to use Kaloidon TiO2 continuously for at least 2 months on newly formed scars; on already developed scars and keloids it is recommended to continue the application for 3-6 months, possibly with compression.

Warnings
The use of the product is contraindicated in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. For external use. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the package is damaged (in the absence of the aluminum seal on the neck of the tube).
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
Validity after opening: 12 months.
