Description

Pre-shampoo that combines proper scalp hygiene with gentle cleansing.
The product has antifungal, antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory action. It regulates excess sebum secretion and dandruff.
Piroctone olamine and undecylenic acid have antifungal and antibacterial action. Vegetable tar has anti-dandruff, antibacterial, and anti-itch effects and is used in psoriasis.
The phytocomplex composed of dandelion, burdock, artichoke, Rosa centifolia, and poppy helps decongest and rebalance the scalp. Solfan is particularly indicated in cases of seborrheic dermatitis, excessive greasiness, and dandruff. These conditions involve a fungus: Pityrosporum ovale (Malassezia). It is very useful for its ability to remove "plugs" from the follicular ostium during local trichological treatment. When these are present, the absorption of the local treatment itself can be reduced and/or compromised, making its action ineffective. In particular, the horny plug appears as a cone of irregularly clumped scales cemented by compact sebum and is typical of hyperkeratotic pathologies: pilary keratosis, psoriasis, lichen, LED, etc. The sebaceous plug, on the other hand, is soft and devoid of horny scales: it is typical of seborrhea, seborrheic dermatitis, and androgenetic defluvium.

Instructions for use
One or two times a week, wash by applying a small amount of product, massaging it well into the scalp, rinse, and repeat the application. Then apply a small amount of Shampoo 74 (or your usual product) to wash the scalp and hair and rinse thoroughly.
If using Nivatrix forte and/or Reglandin Extra products, proceed to the subsequent wash with Solfan as indicated below: apply Nivatrix forte and/or Reglandin Extra twice a week on equidistant days (preferably in the evening). The next day, wash the scalp and hair by applying a small amount of Solfan, massaging it into the scalp. Rinse and repeat. Then apply a small amount of Shampoo 74 (or your usual product) to wash the scalp and hair and rinse thoroughly.
