Description
Food supplement of folic acid (vitamin B complex, also called folate or vitamin B9).
Folic acid supplementation increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily supplemental intake of folic acid of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception). The product is intended for women of childbearing age.
Ingredients
Stabilizer (sorbitol), bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), anti-caking agent (vegetable magnesium stearate), folic acid, coating agents (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, stearic acid and microcrystalline cellulose).
Gluten free.

Take one tablet daily with water during meals.
