PRE-ASSEMBLED READING GLASSES TWINS SILVER TRIPLE +2.00 DIOPTERS TWINS
TWINS SILVER
TRIPLE
Description
Class I Medical Device (Directive 93/42/EEC).
Triple reading glasses, made with aspherical lenses and flexible hypoallergenic metal temples.
The focal centers of both lenses are aligned on the same axis, and the interpupillary distance is between 58 and 64 mm. The diopters of the two lenses have the exact same dioptric power. To correctly assess the extent and nature of a visual defect, a preliminary eye examination by a qualified professional is necessary. Pre-assembled glasses for presbyopia, industrially manufactured with lenses of identical dioptric power, are indicated exclusively for the correction of "simple presbyopia." Presbyopia is characterized by a physiological and progressive weakening of vision that generally manifests after the age of 45 with a series of disturbances such as difficulty reading newspapers or clearly distinguishing small objects at close range. Presbyopia is considered simple when, for the correction of the visual defect, both eyes require the same number of corrective diopters (diopters are the unit of measurement of visual acuity). Pre-assembled glasses are indicated only for near vision and should not be used for driving, distant vision, or eye protection. Improper use or the use of an incorrect prescription can cause various vision disturbances, potentially leading to headaches. In such a case, an eye examination is necessary. Only an ophthalmologist can assess the health of the eyes and the extent of visual disturbances. Pre-assembled glasses for presbyopia do not improve vision in cases of eye diseases such as cataracts or macular degeneration. Pre-assembled glasses for presbyopia should not be used in cases of "complex presbyopia," meaning in the presence of astigmatism or anisometropia, or when the number of diopters in each eye is different. Astigmatism is a vision defect caused by irregular curvature of the cornea that results in blurred and distorted images, while anisometropia is characterized by a different refractive error in the two eyes.

Aspherical acrylic lenses. Hypoallergenic metal frame. Hypoallergenic metal temples.
Format
3 pieces.
Available colors: Blue, Purple, Orange.
Available diopters: +1; +1.5; +2; +2.5; +3; +3.5.
