Warnings
For ear measurements, carefully insert the tip of the thermometer sensor into your ear.
In the presence of certain acute and infectious diseases, the use of the ear thermometer on multiple people, despite cleaning and disinfection, is not recommended due to the possible exchange of germs. For special cases, contact your doctor.
Body temperature measured in the ear may differ from other measurements taken in the mouth, rectum or under the armpit. It is therefore pointless to compare these values. Measure the temperature regularly to calculate the normal ear temperature.
Then use these measurements as a basis for comparison with measurements taken when a fever is suspected.
This thermometer is intended for ear temperature measurements. Do not use it for measurements on other parts of the body.
Replace the protective cap after each use to ensure accurate measurement and avoid cross-contamination.
The ear thermometer can only be used with Medel protective caps, other caps may cause measurement errors. If you run out of caps, contact the manufacturer or your specialist retailer to purchase new ones.
Consult a doctor in case of precarious health conditions.
Avoid shocks to the appliance.
Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight.
Avoid contact of the appliance with liquids.
The thermometer is not waterproof.
Avoid any direct contact with water or other liquids.
Have the appliance repaired only by authorized service centers, otherwise the warranty will expire.
