Description
Sterile hypotonic ophthalmic emulsion without preservatives which appears as a milky liquid.
Cationorm is indicated for the treatment of dry eye symptoms such as pain, itching, burning or a feeling of a foreign body (grain of sand or dust) in the eye. These symptoms may be caused by external factors such as air conditioning, pollution, air travel, working on computer terminals, refractive surgery, use of contact lenses, etc., or by pathologies such as dysfunction of the meibomian glands.
Cationorm hydrates, lubricates and protects the ocular surface.
How to use
Ophthalmic use. The dose is 1 drop in each eye, 1 to 4 times a day.
Wash your hands. Before using the bottle for the first time, remove the safety ring from the cap by pulling the tab. Open the bottle by gently pulling the cap. Grasp the body of the bottle between your thumb and forefinger. Avoid any contact of the tip of the bottle with your fingers. Tilt your head back. Gently open your lower eyelid and look up. Bring the bottle close to your eye and place the back of your hand on your forehead. Press lightly to instill 1 drop into your eye and blink several times.
Do not touch your eye or eyelashes with the tip of the bottle.
Replace the cap on the bottle after each use.
Components
Mineral oils, glycerol, tyloxapol, poloxamer 188, tris-hydrochloride, tromethamine, cetalkonium chloride, purified water.
Warnings
Do not use Cationorm if you are allergic to any of the product components.
This product is not indicated for the treatment of other eye conditions. For more information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of concomitant use of other eye drops, it is advisable to wait at least 5 minutes between the administration of each eye drop. It is recommended to use Cationorm last.
Cationorm is compatible with all types of contact lenses.
In very rare cases, temporary discomfort may occur such as: eye irritation, eye pain, sensation of a foreign body in the eye, redness of the eye, itching, watery eyes, burning sensation, temporary blurred vision, inflammation of the eyelids or swelling of the eyelids. These symptoms are part of the typical manifestations of dry eye syndrome associated with the pre-existing medical conditions of the eye of the dry eye patient. If you experience any side effects not listed in the package leaflet, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if bottle is damaged.
