Description
Hydrogel, sterile, isotonic, consisting of a 1.2% combination of long-chain high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Contains cyclodextrin and povidone iodide (PVP-I).
Thanks to the high concentration of hyaluronic acid in general and the presence of the cross-linked one, it is able to increase the adhesion time to the cornea, thus promoting and accelerating the natural healing process.
It modulates the repair process and at the same time keeps the ocular surface sanitized thanks to the presence of a low but effective concentration of PVP-I in the formulation.
Indicated in the repair of the ocular surface and in the re-epithelialization of corneal lesions caused by trauma, foreign bodies, rubbing, inflammation, infections and also more generally in alterations of the tear film.
It can be used in all cases of very deep ulcers and also in superficial chronic idiopathic ones.
How to use
Wash your hands thoroughly.
Remove the bottle from the cardboard box and remove the plastic safety seal located on the neck of the bottle.
Unscrew the cap.
With your non-dominant hand, hold and support the animal's head by tilting it slightly back. With your other hand, hold the bottle upright above the eye with the tip pointing down.
Instill 1 or 2 drops of hydrogel into the eye to be treated, lightly squeezing the plastic bottle and taking care not to touch the eye with the tip of the bottle.
The suggested dosage is 1 or 2 drops in the eye to be treated, 3 times a day or according to the veterinarian's opinion in relation to the severity of the corneal trauma.
Warnings
Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened.
Do not use the product in case of specific hypersensitivity to one of the components.
Do not ingest the product.
Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Keep the product away from light and heat sources at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.
Do not use after the shelf life indicated on the package.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
Validity after opening: 28 days.
