Description
Sterile ophthalmic solution, free from preservatives, with a hydrating and lubricating effect, containing 0.4% sodium hyaluronic acid salt of biotechnological origin with high molecular weight.
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt is a mucopolysaccharide that, in case of alterations of the tear film, restores its balance. Its concentration at 0.4% allows for greater hydration with a prolonged action over time. It is therefore indicated in all cases in which disorders caused by dry eyes occur.
Suitable for use with soft or hard contact lenses being worn.
How to use
With clean hands, open the protective pouch, detach a single dose and open it by twisting and extracting the cap. Instill 1-2 drops in each eye, lightly pressing the single dose.
After first opening, the container must be closed with the appropriate cap and the solution remaining inside the single-dose can be reused within 12 hours.
Contact lens wearers may apply 1-2 drops of solution to each lens prior to insertion to keep the eye moist and lubricated.
Repeat the operation 2-4 times a day if necessary.
Components
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.4%, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, water for injections.
Warnings
The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly closed when first opened.
Allow at least 15 minutes to pass after use before instilling medications for external ophthalmic use.
During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing end of the single-dose.
Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Keep the preparation out of the reach of children.
In some cases, after administration, a brief blurring of vision has been observed due to the density of the solution, which however disappears very quickly.
Conservation
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Validity after opening: 12 hours.
