Description
BRIO TRIPOD IN ANODIZED ALUMINUM WITH ANTI-ARM SUPPORT
ADJUSTABLE TRIPOD
Description
An aid handled by an arm suitable for supporting and/or assisting the mobility of people with walking difficulties.
Wide base tripod with closed handle, arm grip. Made entirely of lightweight anodized aluminum. Non-slip soft rubber tips. Adjustable height from 76 to 98cm.
How to use
Hold the device with the hand opposite the weak leg and with the longest side of the support base facing inwards. Bring the device forward together with the foot of the weak leg, placing all the weight on the stronger leg. When walking, be careful not to place the device too close to the body to avoid tripping over one of the tips, nor too far away to avoid losing balance. If using on stairs, check that the step is large enough to accommodate the base of the aid. Afterwards, the person must first lift the stronger leg, then the device, and finally the weaker leg. To go down the stairs, the affected leg must move forward with the device and finally the healthy leg. If necessary, get help from an assistant.
