Description
Medical device for the treatment of finger injuries.
Medical device in the form of a tubular finger cots with closed ends, disposable and internally coated with oily gel.
Thanks to the creation of a microenvironment favorable to the activation of the microcirculation and at the same time unfavorable to the proliferation of pathogens combined with the protective, barrier and soothing actions of oxygen-enriched olive oil, it promotes the healing of lesions and their correct cicatrization.
The shape of NovoX Touch Pocket is specifically designed to fit the anatomy of the fingers, both hands and feet.
Intended for the treatment of the following finger injuries:
- Superficial burns.
- Cuts and wounds of limited depth and extent.
- Superficial lesions (abrasions and grazes).
Non-sterile medical device, however any contamination of the lesion does not constitute a contraindication to the use of the device as the tests carried out have demonstrated that the oxygen-enriched oil has an intrinsic capacity to create an environment unfavorable to the proliferation of pathogens commonly present on skin lesions and therefore is intrinsically protected against contamination by such pathogens. As a precaution, it is suggested to always clean and, if possible, disinfect the lesions before applying the device.

How to use
It must be replaced at least once every 48 hours.
Choose the size that best suits the size of the application area, making sure that the entire lesion area can be covered.
For post-surgical wounds, it is recommended to apply it immediately after suturing the wound.
1. Before applying the device, wash and disinfect your hands thoroughly, if this is not possible wear disposable gloves to handle the device.
2. Clean and, if possible, disinfect the wound area, taking care to dry off any excess disinfectant.
3. Open the package containing the device.
4. Remove the device taking care not to touch the impregnated internal part which will come into contact with the wounds.
5. Check that the length of the device is sufficient to cover the area of ​​the lesion. Any excess length can be cut, after carefully disinfecting the tools used (or using sterile tools), taking care not to damage the support or the internal and external lining fabrics. It is also possible to cut the device in order to remove the closed end, if it is not necessary to protect the end of the finger.
6. Insert the device onto the finger, taking care not to deform or bend the device excessively and checking that it adheres correctly to the area to be treated.

Components
Oxygen enriched olive oil.

The device may contain traces (<0.4%) of the following allergens: citral, geraniol, citronellol, linalool, limonene.

Warnings
It should not be used in case of known hypersensitivity or previous allergic reaction to the device or its components.
Use should be avoided in case of previous severe skin reactions to the application of dressings.
Use should be subject to medical evaluation in case of known hypersensitivity to medications.
It has not been specifically tested on pregnant women. However, it is a device for topical use that has no systemic effects and therefore it is not believed that there are any contraindications for use during pregnancy. If you are or suspect you are pregnant, we recommend that you seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist before using the device.
Device for topical use that has no systemic effects: consequently, there are no contraindications in the case of breastfeeding. In any case, it is recommended to ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using the product.

Conservation
Store below 25°C, in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. In case of high ambient temperatures, it is recommended to store the product in the refrigerator (2-8°C).
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
