Description
Class I Medical Device (directive 93/42/EEC). Single use. Non-sterile.
Zinc oxide bandage. Support and compression bandage. Easy to apply, dermophilic, does not contain gelatin. Has high adhesiveness at the edges, which do not fray. Low moisture content and quick drying bandage.
Used in the management and treatment of phlebological diseases such as: venous ulcers, venous edema, thrombophlebitis. For support and relief bandages in the treatment of dislocations, sprains, contusions, tenosynovitis. Recommended after removal of plaster bandages and in the management of post-traumatic edema.
Latex free.
Components
61% viscose, 39% polyamide.
Composition of zinc oxide paste:
Zinc oxide, Hydrocolloids, Dextrins, Glycerin, Purified water; Preservatives: E 216, E 218.
Zinc oxide paste: 78% ±2%
Warnings
Do not use in case of:
Peripheral arterial disease;
Myocardial failure;
Septic phlebitis;
on patients with arterial disease;
on diabetic patients with advanced vascular disease.
Cover with a tubular bandage to prevent stains on clothing. To prolong the cooling effect and avoid skin irritation, keep the bandage moist every day. If the bandage is too stiff or too dry to remove, moisten with warm water.
Single use product. Always apply to clean, dry skin. Do not apply the bandage with excessive tension to avoid constriction loops. To fix dressings, apply the bandage without tension from the center to the end of the dressing. Never connect the end and pull the bandage to fix at the opposite end (may cause skin damage).
Conservation
Store in a cool (between 5°C and 30°C) and dry place.
Validity for intact package: 36 months.
