Description
Sterile hypertonic saline solution ready to use, indicated for nasal hygiene of children, adults and in aerosol therapy.
It frees the nose from mucus that often obstructs it, promoting the elimination of excessive nasal secretions, stimulating mucociliary derance. It frees the nose of newborns from mucus that obstructs it, facilitating breathing and consequently sleep in infants.
How to use
Newborns: instill a few drops into the nostrils before sleeping.
Children: instill a few drops into the nostrils 1 to 3 times a day.
Adults: Dispense the contents of one vial into both nostrils once or more times a day.
Aerosol therapy: carefully follow the instructions on the packaging of the drug to be diluted.
Nasal shower: follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
Components
Sodium chloride 3% in sterile water for injections qs to 5 ml.
Warnings
- Not injectable.
- Do not use the product if you have ongoing or recently completed nosebleeds.
- For use in aerosol therapy, do not use in patients with serious respiratory or cardiovascular diseases.
- Avoid contact between the tip of the vial and the mucosa.
- The product can be used for long periods, it does not contain preservatives.
- Do not use the product if the bottle is not intact and sealed.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- The device should be considered sterile until the date of first opening.
- Use the vial once opened.
- Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Conservation
Store away from light, heat sources and in intact packaging.
Do not use the product after the expiry date, which refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
