Description
Lineagin Ovules is a medical device that helps restore the natural defenses of the vagina. Based on boric acid, lactic acid, and polycarbophil, it helps eliminate symptoms resulting from an imbalance of vaginal pH and endogenous bacterial flora.
It is useful in the prevention and treatment of vaginal conditions, including mycotic ones. It helps reduce irritation, burning, and itching.
Lactic acid, a component normally present in the vagina, promotes an immediate correction of pH and facilitates the natural restoration of the delicate vulvo-vaginal ecosystem. Boric acid, thanks to its persistence in the vaginal environment, promotes a prolonged lowering of vaginal pH over time.
Polycarbophil, once bound to vaginal mucus, is able to constantly release H+ ions that contribute to lowering the pH of the vaginal environment.

How to use
Wash the intimate areas thoroughly (preferably with both an external and internal vaginal douche), open the package and, after washing your hands thoroughly, take a single ovule from the blister, gently insert the ovule into the vagina, trying to go deep, preferably in a supine position, avoiding accidental leakage.
Insert 1 ovule into the vagina daily, preferably in the evening before going to bed, for 5-7 days after the end of the menstrual cycle or as otherwise directed by a doctor.

Components
One ovule contains: boric acid, polycarbophil, lactic acid, tocopherol acetate, vitamin A palmitate, 18-beta-glycyrrhetic acid, tea tree oil, phosphatidylcholine, semi-synthetic triglycerides.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow. Do not use the product if the package is not intact. Do not use the product after the expiration date. The expiration date refers to the intact and correctly stored product. Do not use the product in case of vaginal lesions or wounds. Do not use during menstruation. Do not exceed the recommended dose without medical advice. Use, especially if prolonged, can lead to sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, stop treatment and consult a doctor to establish appropriate therapy. It is important to report to your doctor or pharmacist the appearance of unwanted side effects not described in this leaflet.
In pregnant and breastfeeding women and children, the use of ovules should be limited to cases of actual necessity and under direct medical supervision. In case of an intact hymen, consult your gynecologist about specific methods of use before use.
Side effects: confirmed hypersensitivity to the components.
Single-use device: do not reuse in case of accidental leakage.

Storage
Store the tightly closed package in a dry place, between 5°C and 25°C, away from light and heat sources.
