DescriptionA natural product (oil extracted from the distillation of red chili peppers), oleoresin capsicum, in a 10% concentration, is effective and safe: it irritates the upper respiratory tract and eyes, causing transient effects that are neither harmful nor toxic to health. It does not cause temporary or permanent damage to the person. It does not contain any type of aggressive chemical (Law 467/95).
Product compliant with art. 2 c. 3, L. 110/75 and Decree of the Ministry of the Interior no. 103/2011 (Regulation of the characteristics of self-defense tools based on oleoresin capsicum not suitable for causing harm to a person):
- can containing 15 ml of product;
- percentage of oleoresin capsicum equal to 10%;
- capsaicin percentage equal to 2.5%;
- does not contain flammable, corrosive, toxic or carcinogenic substances;
- does not contain aggressive chemicals;
- equipped with a safety system against accidental activation;
- produces a jet/nebulization no greater than three meters.
How to use
1. For optimal effectiveness, spray from a distance of approximately 1 meter.
2. Point the gun at the target and press the valve firmly. This creates a "pepper cloud" that has an immediate effect on the attacker.
3. After spraying the product, quickly move away from the scene of the attack and request the intervention of the Public Safety authorities.
4. The spray is ready to use thanks to a self-unlocking safety device.
Components
10% Oleoresin capsicum, 90% inert solution.
Warnings
- Use for self-defense only when necessary.
- Avoid improper use or play against people and animals.
- In case of contact, rinse exposed areas with plenty of fresh water.
Pressurized container: May explode if heated.
Causes serious eye irritation.
Keep out of reach of children.
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, or open flames. No smoking.
Do not pierce or incinerate, even after use.
Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
If eye irritation persists, consult a doctor.
Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F.
Conservation
Protect from light and heat.
Shelf life when packaging is intact: 36 months.
