SenSura Mio Convex Flip
ileostomy bag
One-piece bag indicated for collecting waste from subjects with ileostomy.
The bag has an open bottom.
The Hideaway closure system allows you to fold the bag over itself and secure it with the two side flaps and a Velcro strap underneath the fabric. This ensures maximum discretion, reducing its size.
The inspectable version of the bag is made of innovative Ökotex fabric.
The inspection feature consists of an opening beneath which there is a transparent film that allows viewing of the stoma. The back is made of fabric. The color of the bag is innovative and discreet, specifically designed to be invisible under clothing. The transparent bags allow complete visibility of the contents from the front, while the back is covered with fabric for greater comfort against the skin.
The adhesive, designed using BodyFit Technology, is elastic, newly developed, and made up of two layers; it has a five-petalled star shape and its elastic structure guarantees adhesion, safety, and skin protection:
- In the innermost layer, the special mesh structure incorporates small hydrocolloids: upon contact with waste, it transforms into a cohesive and compact gel, highly resistant to erosion. This creates a protective seal that reduces the risk of leaks while maintaining the correct skin moisture level, promoting tissue repair;
- in the part closest to the stoma the adhesive is equipped with a ring that provides stability and support to the stoma;
- in the outermost layer, the elastic capacity of the adhesive allows this layer to adapt perfectly to the irregularities of the skin, offering high instant adhesion and consequent safety in use.
The product has a turquoise-colored adhesive removal tab for greater visibility, and a thumb-shaped grip for easy grip.
The bag is equipped with a new circular filtration system. The filter consists of a very large, circular pre-filter area that allows it to trap any type of effluent before it comes into contact with the filter membranes. This prevents clogging. The activated carbon filter is positioned inside the bag itself at the front, under the inspection pocket, and ensures deodorization.
Warnings
This is a medical device pursuant to Directive 93/42/EEC - class I - non-sterile.
No contraindications.
Valid for 3 years from date of production.
The product does not contain ecotoxic components and therefore does not require special disposal protocols.
Do not dispose of in the environment as it is not biodegradable.
Conservation
We recommend storing in the original, intact packaging, away from light and humidity, at a constant temperature between 15° and 30°.
