Description
CE Class IIb Medical Device (Dir. 93/42/EEC). Sterilized by ethylene oxide.
Flocare nasogastric tubes are suitable for short-term use (<8 weeks) in the stomach. The tubes are made of soft, skin-friendly materials, designed for optimal feeding.
A transparent polyurethane tube with three white radiopaque lines and centimeter markings (the three opaque lines provide optimized visibility under X-rays and increased safety), the Flocare PUR nasal tube is easy to insert and precisely position. They are recommended for patients requiring short- and medium-term tube nutrition and are available in a wide range of lengths and CH.
Product free from latex and phthalates.
Characteristics
Latex and DEHP free materials.
Rounded open tip for easy insertion, with lateral and distal exits.
Silicone guide wire.
Available with ENFit connector.
Warnings
Nasogastric tubes should not be used in patients with delayed gastric emptying and/or risk of aspiration. If present, a guidewire should never be replaced or reintroduced during placement or while the tube is still in the patient.
Conservation
Store at room temperature.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 60 months.
