XONRID TOPICAL GEL FOR RADIOTHERAPY DERMATITIS 75 ML
XONRID TOPICAL GEL RADIOTHERAPY DERMATITIS
Description
Topical gel for the prevention and treatment of skin symptoms such as erythema, tingling, burning sensation, and itching, due to radiotherapy or other causes.
Applied to the affected skin area, Xonrid forms a protective film, reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL), and increases hydration.
Xonrid promotes the healing process by restoring the physiological hydration levels of damaged skin areas.
Xonrid can be applied to the affected areas, including skin folds and wrinkles, whether or not small traumas or abrasions are present.
How to use
Use on clean skin, three times a day or as directed by a physician.
Apply with clean hands directly to the affected areas and gently massage to achieve a thin and even layer.
In the case of radiotherapy, Xonrid can be applied for 2 or 3 days before the scheduled sessions.
Xonrid can be applied after each session and at the end of each radiotherapy cycle for the necessary duration to relieve symptoms.
Do not use immediately before the radiotherapy session.
The skin must be perfectly clean before each session.
To remove any residue of Xonrid, gently wash the area only with water before the radiotherapy session.
Ingredients
Aqua, C12-15 alkyl-benzoate, Chamomilla recutita flower water, glyceril stearate, xanthan gum (1.5%), propylene glycol, glycerin, Prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, ethylhexyl palmitate, gluconolactone, sodium benzoate, polyacrylamide (0.2%), raspberry ketone, C13-14 isoparaffin, disodium Edta, sodium hyaluronate (0.1%), tocopheryl acetate, laureth-7, hydrolyzed DNA, hydrolyzed RNA, Camelia sinensis leaf extract, Vitis vinifera seed extract, calcium gluconate, Leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate.
Warnings
The use of Xonrid is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components.
For external use only; do not use on mucous membranes or in contact with the eyes.
Do not use together with other topical products, as possible interactions cannot be excluded.
Xonrid has a barrier effect that may affect the local absorption of topical medications.
Do not use in the presence of severe dermal injuries that can only heal by secondary intention (e.g., severe wounds that have deeply and extensively damaged the dermis, chronic and extensive ulcerative wounds, severe burns, severe pressure sores).
Dermatitis usually heals within 2 or 3 weeks after the end of radiotherapy; if symptoms persist beyond 3 weeks, discontinue use of the product and consult a physician.
Do not use if the bottle is damaged or tampered with, if it has been stored improperly, or after the expiration date indicated on the label.
Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store at room temperature (between 5°C and 20°C).
Validity in intact packaging: 35 months.
Format
75 ml.
