Description
Food for special medical purposes. Instant thickener in powder form based on corn starch, fast and stable over time, for liquid or semi-dense foods. Nestlé ThickenUp is a food for special medical purposes indicated for patients with dysphagia or for patients with difficulty swallowing.
Ingredients
Modified corn starch.
Gluten- free and lactose- free.
Nutritional characteristics
How to use
To obtain a consistency:
slightly thick - 1.5 level tablespoons per 200 ml;
moderately thick - 2 level tablespoons per 200 ml;
dense - 2.5 level tablespoons per 200 ml;
very thick - 3 level tablespoons per 200 ml.
To prepare, add ThickenUp powdered thickener directly to hot or cold water or meal. Stir until completely dissolved for 1-2 minutes.
Warnings
Do not administer to children under 3 years of age.
Check the integrity of the container before use.
Conservation
Store at room temperature.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
Shelf life after opening: 6 weeks.
