TriMix
Description
A protective, hydrating and lubricating ophthalmic solution containing cross-linked sodium hyaluronate, trehalose, stearylamine and liposomes, formulated to restore the physiological properties of the ocular surface.
The combination of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and trehalose gives the product high viscoelasticity, ensuring a high degree of hydration and retention on the ocular surface, thereby alleviating symptoms associated with dry eye and the resulting ocular irritation.
Trehalose has stabilizing and protective properties for cell membranes, preventing protein denaturation and lipid degradation, contributing to reducing inflammatory phenomena.
Liposomes are known for their soothing and emollient properties, as well as for their ability to act as a carrier, increasing the bioavailability of the substances they transport and stabilizing the lipid component of the tear film.
Stearylamine, carried by liposomes due to its positive charge, allows for better adhesion to the epithelial surface and helps inhibit microbial growth.
The combination of the properties listed above makes TriMIX an effective protector of the ocular surface with antioxidant effects that can also promote the repair of ocular tissues damaged surgically or due to mechanical or chemical trauma or environmental insults.
Instructions for use
Instill 1-2 drops into each eye 2-3 times a day or as advised by your doctor.
Components
Cross-linked sodium hyaluronate, trehalose, stearylamine, liposomes (phospholipids) in buffered aqueous solution at physiological pH.
Warnings
- Do not use the product if allergic or with known hypersensitivity to any of the components.
- In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
- The product is sterile; discard any residual product within 24 hours after opening the mini-container.
- Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.
- Do not use the product if the container is damaged.
- For external ophthalmic use only.
- Do not touch the eyes, surrounding areas, or other surfaces with the tip of the container.
- If instilling multiple products, leave an interval of at least 10 minutes between applications.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Storage
Store the product at a temperature below 25 °C and above 2 °C.
Shelf life of unopened packaging: 24 months.
