Food supplement based on Lutein, Choline, Vitamin E and Ginkgo Biloba, indicated in cases of increased need or decreased dietary intake of the nutrients that compose it. Contains a synergistic and complementary association of substances with strong antioxidant, nutritional and protective action for the retina and the nervous structures involved in visual processes.
Lutein
Lutein is a yellow pigment of plant origin. Its role in the eye is essential: it accumulates in the central part of the retina and here it plays a protective role for the cells responsible for the perception of light radiation, the photoreceptors.
CDP-choline
CDP-choline provides the body with a neuromodulation and neuroprotection system capable, in particular, of maintaining the physiological levels of phospholipids in the cell membrane, and therefore of ensuring the integrity and functioning of the membrane itself and of nerve cells. CDP-choline, in addition to being a natural precursor of phospholipids involved in the formation and repair of the cell membrane, also participates in the maturation processes of visual functions.
Vitamin E
It is a powerful antioxidant that, thanks to its chemical characteristics, is located at the level of cell membranes and exerts its activity. Its regular intake is also essential to prevent degenerative processes caused by the oxidation of cellular structures.
Ginkgo Biloba
The standardized extract of Ginkgo Biloba acts as a vasoregulator of small vessels, increases blood flow thus improving perfusion, metabolism and the supply of nutrients to the retina and optic nerve and at the same time reduces platelet aggregation.
