Alpha lipoic acid is recommended in the treatment of mechanical and metabolic neuropathies. The neuroprotective and neurotrophic action is expressed thanks to the very high antioxidant inhibitory value of the phagocytic chemotaxis of Myelin and the induction of the production of neurotransmitters and NGF (Nerve Growth Factor). Alpha lipoic acid is also crucial for the Krebs cycle by providing energy to the cell, restoring axonal flow and activating synaptogenesis processes.
