With the help of the practical and wide finger holder, it can be used optimally. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur supports all three layers of the tear film: the aqueous layer (thanks to hyaluronic acid and glycerol), the lipid layer (thanks to lipids from castor oil), and the mucin layer (thanks to the muco-adhesive properties of hyaluronic acid). Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that is also present in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film, and is therefore particularly well tolerated. It is characterized by a high water-retention capacity and is viscoelastic. In addition, hyaluronic acid adheres well to the surface of the eye (muco-adhesive properties) and therefore increases the duration of action. Glycerol is also a natural substance of the body and an additional moisturizing factor. Thanks to these moisture-retaining and moisture-releasing properties, glycerol (together with hyaluronic acid) stabilizes the aqueous layer of the tear film. Therefore, Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur moistens, moistens and protects the surface of the eye, as well as providing a uniform and stable moist film on the cornea and conjunctiva. Lipids (triglycerides) from castor oil supplement the lipid layer of the tear film, stabilizing it and reducing evaporation. Taurine, another endogenous compound, is the most abundant amino acid physiologically present in the tear film and in various tissues of the eye, for example in the cornea, lens, retina and vitreous body. Taurine has osmoregulating properties, is absorbed into the cells and acts in depth. Taurine helps restore the osmotic balance disturbed by dry eyes, and protects the cells on the surface of the eye from drying out and oxidative stress. In the treatment of dry eyes, Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur therefore offers hydration, protection from evaporation and osmoregulation, thanks to the triple combination of moisturizers (hyaluronic acid and glycerol), lipids and natural taurine. It can be used in all forms of dry eyes, both in cases of insufficient production of tear fluid (hypo-secretory form) and in cases of excessive evaporation of tears due to a lack of lipids (hyper-evaporative form). The eye drops are suitable for dry, burning and tearing eyes (paradoxical dry eyes). They provide moisture, improve the quality of the tear film and protect the surface of the eye. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur can be used in all forms of dry eye, for example:
- in case of pronounced symptoms of dryness and burning of the eyes;
- for watery eyes (paradoxical dry eye);
- in dry eyes due to lipid deficiency-meibomian gland dysfunction;
- in dry eyes caused for example by Sjtigren's syndrome or by taking medications;
- in the post-operative period, for example after cataract surgery, LASIK, LASEK;
- in the presence of environmental stress, for example due to wind/draughts, cold, dry air, air-conditioned rooms or air pollution;
- in case of fatigue and visual stress caused by prolonged viewing, for example when working on a computer, microscope, or during long car journeys;
- in case of mechanical stress, caused for example by hard or soft contact lenses or by diagnostic procedures on the eye.
Suitable for use in adolescents and adults.

How to use
Before first use, write the opening date in the space provided on the vial label. Wash your hands and remove the protective cap before each use.
Before using the SafeDrop bottle for the first time, squeeze it several times until the first drop is released. Hold the bottle upside down. Avoid any contact of the dropper tip with your fingers and your eye. Make sure your thumb rests on the large, circular, non-slip finger rest.
Alternatively, if you are using the eye drops with contact lenses, apply one or two drops to each lens before inserting them into your eyes, instead of instilling the eye drops directly into your eyes. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur can also be used while wearing contact lenses. After use, the multidose container should be closed with the protective cap.
Use the product as needed or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Components
Lipid phase (contains: glycerol, refined castor oil, tyloxapol, tween 80, poloxamer 188, EDTA, vitamin E acetate, tromethamine hydrochloride, tromethamine, purified water), taurine, sodium EDTA, tromethamine, sodium hyaluronate, HCI or NaOH (for pH adjustment), water for injections.

Warnings
Do not use in the presence of hypersensitivity (allergy) to one of the components. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and children should consult their doctor before using the product.
After application, temporary impairment of visual acuity (blurred vision) may occur. In this case, do not drive or operate machinery. It is recommended to wait until normal visual acuity is restored.
Transient symptoms, such as mild burning in the eyes, may appear immediately after applying the eye drops.
Do not use if the SafeDrop multidose container is damaged.
Do not touch your eye with the dropper tip to avoid eye infection or injury.
Do not touch the tip of the dropper with other objects or parts of the body, to avoid contamination of the product.
Do not use as the sole treatment for an eye infection.
Do not use the eye drops after the expiry date, which is stated on each SafeDrop vial and on the folding carton.
For hygiene reasons, the same multidose container should not be used by more than one patient.
The product is not suitable as a storage liquid for contact lenses.
The product must be kept out of reach of children.
If symptoms persist during use, consult your eye doctor.

Suitable for long-term use. However, as with all diseases, if symptoms persist, it is necessary to consult an ophthalmologist.
If you are also following another local eye treatment, approximately 30 minutes should pass between the two applications. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur should be applied after the other products.

Conservation
Store at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
