Semi-automatic defibrillator created specifically for non-healthcare personnel, it supports the operator during rescue maneuvers with simple and clear vocal information as well as with light indicators. Useful for intervening in situations of Ventricular Fibrillation (VF) and Ventricular Tachycardia.Characteristics
The small size and light weight make this defibrillator a truly portable battery-powered device.
Warnings
Training required for the use of semi-automatic defibrillators. The rescuer must complete a course in the use of the i-PAD. The rescuer must also have completed a course in CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) or similar courses approved by the agency responsible for emergency programs.
I-PAD can be used on children between the ages of 1 and 8 years, in which case use reduced energy pediatric paddles. For children over 8 years of age, the American Heart Association (AHA) recommends the use of the "Chain of Survival" and resuscitation sequences used on adults.
