It is a plant native to South Africa; the name comes from the small hooks on the fruit of the plant. The active components of devil's claw are harpagosides, which are found in the secondary root. Devil's Claw has been used for centuries in Africa to treat fever, rheumatoid arthritis, pancreas, stomach and intestine. In the early 1900s, with the occupation of Namibia by the Germans, Devil's Claw was imported to Europe. Devil's Claw is used in the treatment of rheumatic diseases and to reduce joint pain. It has also been found that Devil's Claw has a discreet activity on the digestive system.

Ingredients
Dry extract of harpagophytum procumbens (Devil's Claw) titrated to 10% harpagosides.
Directions for use
take 2 tablets after lunch and 2 tablets after dinner. Continue for at least two months, then take a one-month break.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
