Description
Innovative low environmental impact plaster with a support made of a film based on bioresins: these substances derived from potato starch, 100% biocompostable, come from agricultural crops with low water absorption and are particularly eco-friendly. Water resistant, it adheres perfectly (like a second skin), protects the wound from external agents and promotes the healing process by keeping the environment under the dressing moist without causing maceration.
The support is water resistant, soft and anatomical, characterized by rounded corners for better conformability of the product and a significant increase in comfort for the user. The central part is enlarged to ensure maximum protection even near the central pad. It can be biodegraded in a short time in composting systems.
The central pad is soft, absorbent and has rounded corners to better adapt to the wound. It does not contain preservatives.
It guarantees high adhesiveness while being a delicate patch that respects the skin thanks to an innovative glue free of natural rubber latex and solvents: its formulation does not generate toxic waste and harmful agents that impact on workers in the production chain and are dispersed into the environment.
The packaging is eco-friendly, because it is entirely made of recycled cardboard. Tamper-proof case for greater consumer protection and equipped with a hanger for display.
To facilitate the choice of the most suitable format, the shape of the patch is shown on the back of the boxes in 1:1 scale. The product is a medical device belonging to class I according to directive 93/42/EEC.
