Description
Hydrogel aids healing with hyaluronic acid. Medical device CE 0476, class IIa. Hydrogel that physically protects the wound and promotes correct skin re-epithelialization. Creates optimal humidity conditions to start a correct healing process. It can be applied to all types of wounds that require protection, hydration and promotion of healing: abrasions, grazes, lacerations, burns, scalds.
The hydrogel matrix is made of a polymer that can contain large quantities of water in its three-dimensional network and resist breakage caused by salts present in blood and wound exudates for a long time. The polymer does not break immediately upon contact with salts and therefore allows a gradual release of water, allowing for prolonged hydration. Master-Aid Hydrogel helps the healing process because it allows a moist environment to remain in the wound for a prolonged time.
The innovative BOV technology leaves Master-Aid Hydrogel completely isolated from the external environment and the internal propellant. Bacterial contamination is kept under control for the entire life of the product. The BOV dispenser allows the application of the hydrogel directly on the wound offering hygiene and ease of use.
