Description
Class IIa medical device.
Post-operative adhesive dressing consisting of a non-woven fabric support coated with hypoallergenic adhesive with high skin tolerability and a central absorbent pad. It has a highly conformable adhesive support, which adapts to the contours of the skin to ensure patient comfort during application. The transversal extensibility of the non-woven fabric that constitutes the support makes the dressing suitable for application even on joint areas and mobile parts. The support has good adhesiveness, which guarantees a constant hold over time and good resistance to temperature variations.
It has rounded corners to avoid accidental detachment. Very delicate when removed, it leaves no adhesive residue on the skin.
The perforation of the support and the striped spreading of the adhesive guarantee the correct passage of air and steam while respecting the transpiration of the skin.
The central pad is highly absorbent to protect any type of wound and absorb different levels of exudate. The part of the pad in contact with the wound is made of a non-stick mesh that minimizes adhesion to the injured part. The pad and the adhesive edge are protected by silicone paper that is easily removable before use.
It is radiolucent, meaning it is not visible under X-rays.
Latex free.
Sterilized by ethylene oxide.
