Stop Hemo
HEMOSTATIC SWABfor nose and skin bleeding, in adults and children, once applied to the wound, it is capable of stopping the bleeding in a few seconds.
Characteristics:
exploits the haemostatic power of calcium alginate, a seaweed extract present in the form of insoluble crystalline fibres.
Alginate in dressings offers important features, such as the ability to:
- rapidly stop bleeding by promoting platelet aggregation and reducing clotting time, following the release of calcium particles that exchange with sodium particles in the exudate;
- heal wounds quickly, promoting defense against microorganisms and reducing the risk of any dermatological complications;
- calm the sensation of pain, gelling on contact with the blood, creating a moist environment favorable to healing and adhering to the area to be treated in adequate and never excessive quantities.
Each pack contains five disposable swabs.
